Accessibility statement

What we aim for

We build and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

• Text that resizes and reflows without breaking the layout.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast.
• Meaningful page structure with one main heading per page.
• Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning.
• Keyboard access to every link, button and form field, with a visible focus outline.
• Forms with clear labels and plain-English error messages.

Known limitations

This statement reflects our own testing rather than an independent audit. Some longer guides use dense layouts that may be harder to scan, and embedded third-party tools are outside our direct control.

If any part of this site is hard to use, please tell us through the contact page and describe what you were trying to do. We will reply within five working days and fix what we reasonably can.

Contacting us another way

If a web form is not workable for you, say so when you reach us and we will arrange an alternative, such as a phone call at a time that suits you.
